Day 1

Arrival to Krakow. Orientation tour of Krakow. Welcome meeting and short introduction to the itinerary. Evening Krakow city tour. Welcome dinner at one of the famous Krakow’s restaurants.

Day 2

Krakow sightseeing including the most dazzling sites of the Historical Center of Krakow such the largest square in medieval Europe-Main Market Square, the world's oldest shopping hall-Cloth hall, 500-year-old unmatched masterpiece of medieval military engineering-Barbican, world’s greatest medieval sculpture-Wit Stowsz Altar, one of the most beautiful ancient streets of Europe-Kanonicza Street and interiors of Wawel Castle. Afternoon tour to Wieliczka Salt Mine listed on UNESCO list, one of the world's oldest operating salt mines. Dinner in the Salt Mine or at the hote.

Overnight in Krakow.

 

Day 3

Half day tour to Auschwitz-Birkenau World War II extermination camp and Holocaust victims memorial. Return to Krakow via Wadowice-Pope John Paul's II home town.

Day 4

Breathtaking rafting through the Dunajec River Gorge the most beautiful regions in southern Poland Visit to medieval Niedzica Castle dating from the 14th century and Archangel Michael's Church registered as a UNESCO heritage site, one of the oldest wooden church in Europe.

Dinner and overnight in Zakopane.

 

Day 5

Tour of Zakopane-town located at the foot of the Tatra Mountains. Informally known as "the winter capital of Poland" Museum of Zakopane Style at " Koliba", ride up the Gubalowka Mountain. Optional visit to Morskie Oko the largest and definitely the most beautiful of the Tatras' lakes. Highlander evening – regional cuisine & folk music.

Day 6

Visit of Lancut Castle – one of the most amazing aristocratic residences in Poland, famous for its extraordinarily collection of horse-drawn carriages and excellent interiors.

Dinner and overnight in Lancut Castle.

 

Day 7

Sightseeing of Zamosc “pearl of the Renaissance” with its unique architecture.

Dinner and overnight in Warsaw.

 

Day 8

Tour of Warsaw capital of Poland includes city highlights: the Palace of Science and Culture, Old Town Square, the Royal Castle and Warsaw Rising Museum, Wilanow Place knows as the "Polish Versailles"baroque royal summer residence of Polish King and a great army leader John III Sobiesk.

Dinner and overnight in Warsaw.

 

Day 9

Visit birthplace of the one of the greatest world’s composer Fryderyk Chopin in Zelazowa Wola – Chopin’s childhood home. Deport towards Masurian Region known as “the Land of a Thousand Lakes”.

Dinner and overnight in Mikolajki.

 

Day 10

Visit of the former headquarters of Hitler-the Wolf’s Lair, Reszel the Gothic Castle and monastery complex in Swieta Lipka a religious center and a place of pilgrimage.

Dinner and overnight in Mikolajki.

 

Day 11

Depart for Malbork Castle -the biggest fortress of medieval Europe.

Dinner and overnight in Gdańsk.

 

Day 12

Visit the „Tricity” Gdansk -Gdynia -Sopot including Gdansk shipyard with Solidarity Monument, Amber Museum, Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary the largest brick church in the world, Oliwa Cathedral famous for its splendid organ, ORP Błyskawica a Polish destroyer ship serving in the Polish Navy during II World War.

Dinner and overnight in Gdańsk.

 

Day 13

Depart Gdansk for Torun-Pearl of Northern Gothic Tourn sightseeing including Copernicus’ House and tasting of delicious gingerbread. Farewell dinner at local restaurant.

Overnight in Gdańsk.

 

Day 14

Depart for airport.
